Grammar #1 

本週同學們最容易搞混的文法內容:

*have been to + 地方  (曾經去過某地)

*have gone to + 地方  (已經去了某地)

*have been in +地方  (已經在某地)

  Ex 我爸爸已經去香港了. My father has gone to Hong Kong.

  Ex 你曾去過偉人英語嗎? Have you ever been to VIP?

  Ex 他曾經去過台北一次. He has been to Taipei once.

  Ex 我已經在台北兩年了. I have been in Taipei for two years.

(here/there/home前不加 "to" Ex. Has your father been there? Yes, he's been there many times.)

*其實,"have been to"要特別記之外,其他不需要特別記,因為 "have+pp"翻譯成 "已經", gone=去,in=在.

  2. Amy                to VIP. She'll be home by five at the latest.

Grammar #2

 * 受格代名詞必須放在可分的雙字動詞中間.Ex. Put on your coat. = Put your coat on.= Put it on.

* when/ if 後接的副詞子句,用現簡代近未. Ex. I'll give Lora the CD when I meet her tonight.

* for (當作) dessert Ex. Did you have cake for dessert? 

                               Ex, What do you usually eat for breakfast?
